Florida residents and visitors are required, unless otherwise exempt, to hold a license for hunting and fishing in the state of Florida.
A hunting or fishing license authorizes hunters and anglers to attempt to take or possess fish or wildlife game in compliance with state and federal regulations and the rules of the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC).
While participating in a hunting or fishing activity, hunters and anglers must carry proof of identification, licenses, permits, or certification credentials.
Licenses may be purchased singularly or in combination packages.
Persons with disabilities may apply for a no fee hunting and fishing license. A valid email address must be provided for FWC to deliver the approved license as no license will be mailed.
While waiting for delivery of the approved license, a temporary license may be printed upon completing the application process.
