Renewals

Those seeking to renew their Concealed Weapon License may do so at the Tax Collector’s Office Downtown Fort Myers location.

An appointment is required for this service.

Appointments must be scheduled within 90 days prior to the expiration date.

Those seeking a Concealed Weapon License Renewal are required to bring the following items at the time of their appointment:

  • A picture ID (driver license or state-issued ID is acceptable)
  • The Concealed Weapon or Firearm License Number
  • Legal documents that reflect a change of name, i.e., marriage certificate, divorce decree, court affidavit, etc.
  • Court documentation reflecting final disposition of charges if you have been arrested since the last issuance of your concealed weapon license

If your Concealed Weapon or Firearm license has been expired for more than 180 days, you will be required to complete the Initial Application and pay Initial Application fees. Once reviewed and approved, individuals will receive their license at the end of their transaction.

Address Changes

You can change the address on your concealed weapon license when renewing through the Lee County Tax Collector’s office. Alternatively, you can update your address through the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
