Specialty plates require an annual fee plus a $5 processing fee in addition to the regular registration fee.

You can purchase most specialty plates right from our website without having to visit an office.

Military service-related license plates are also available, like the Medal of Honor, Silver Star, Distinguished Service Cross, Navy Cross, Air Force Cross, Distinguished Flying Cross or World War II Veteran.  These plates require proof of eligibility to be submitted with the application for military service-related license plates. This can be done in person at one of our offices. There is no additional annual fee or $5 processing fee, and in some cases, the regular registration fee is reduced. Some restrictions may apply.
